Trying to run sddm makes the screen flicker, no image output is present and sometimes a command line props out, I can Ctrl+alt+f1 and enter the system with no problem, but is weird that that ... WebOnce you setup VirtualGL, you will need to use vglrun startkde instead of exec. I got working this setup with VirtualGL + turbovnc (but I think TigerVNC should work too). Also btw you can debug this a bit more by trying smaller parts, I mean startkde is just a script and you can see it with cat /bin/startkde.

WebThe process name of applications started via kdeinit5 is "kdeinit5". This problem can be corrected to a degree by changing the application name as shown by ps. However, applications like killall will only see kdeinit5 as the process name.
